Recessed, raised bottom prevents heat transfer to floors in case of fire. Nylon buttons on steel legs protect floors. Top vinyl bumper protects walls. Design also features a powder-coat finish for durability. Steel contains 30 percent recycled steel and is 100 percent recyclable. ADA-compliant wastebasket meets federal specification A-A-182 for fire hazard and flammability prevention and qualifies under NFPA Life Safety Code 101, Section 31. U.L. Classified.
