With significantly improved speeds for copying, this multifunction copier is sure lock to handle multiple high-speed tasks. PROS: The Lanier LD-145 packs a 45-page per minute speed for monochrome copying and the optional network printing. Copying process uses CCD scanning and twin laser beam electro-photographic printing, which enables the Lanier LD-145 to produce quality copies. Warm-up time is pretty fast for a multifunction copier, logging in approximately 20 seconds, with a blazing first copy speed of 3.6 seconds. Resolution for the Lanier LD-145 carries 600 dots per inch, enough to produce crisp, quality text and images. Standard memory is 64MB, plus a 20 GB hard disk drive for virtual storage. Zoom capacity has 1% increments from 25 to 400%, ensuring that the Lanier LD-145 is able to produce fine output details. CONS: The Lanier LD-145 lacks an impressive resolution for its copy function and as well as print, scan and fax functions. While the Lanier LD-145 carries competitive speeds especially for its fax option, it totally lacks high quality outputs that are usually found in other multifunction machines.
